Alongside the iPad 2 announcement, Apple has finally taken out iOS 4.3 from beta and has said that it will be rolled out to all, on March 11, 2011.
The first thing you'll notice in iOS 4.3, claims Scott Forstall of Apple, is increased Safari performance. Nitro JavaScript engine has been used, there's iTunes home sharing and also considerable improvements to AirPlay.
When you tap on the AirPlay icon, it looks around and finds your Apple TV. It's that easy. We're making it even better in iOS 4.3. If you're sharing photos, you can use all of the built in slide show options. And now in 4.3, apps from the Store and even websites can do video or audio
iOS 4.3 will also bring the much awaited option of configuring the preference of the iPad switch, by either setting it to mute your iPad 2 or lock it.
iOS 4.3 also brings the Personal Hotspot feature to your iPhone 4, so the Verizon iPhone 4 doesn't have this feature exclusively, come iOS 4.3 release on March 11.
