Everyone's waiting for the iPhone 5 which is expected to be released this Summer. While there's little known about the specifications and features of the Apple iPhone 5, 9to5mac has heard from its sources having close links at Foxconn that the iPhone 5 is going to be somewhat similar to the iPhone 4 in terms of design. Basically, headphone jack flex and dock connector of the iPhone 5 were received. After careful scrutiny, it was established that the iPhone 5 will have two color options. iPhone 5 in white and black. Nothing new here, as we're already awaiting the white iPhone 4.
Next up, is something that needed to be confirmed. Previously, there were rumours indicating a possibility of the iPhone 5 not having the Home button. The dock connector however, confirms that the iPhone 5 will have the Home button, as its connector is present on the piece.
The headphone jack flex of iPhone 5 is redesigned. Not that exciting for the average Joe who never gets to see the inside of the phone. However, its eye candy for the engineers. The connection piece to the iPhone’s motherboard was previously located at the top of the cable but on the iPhone 5, its located on the middle of the cable. So what this means is that Apple may be making room to put something new in the iPhone 5. You can wish for better battery, an improved camera, faster processor, NFC etc etc
Conclusion:
The Apple iPhone 5 is going to be similar to the iPhone 4 at least in terms of design. This however does not mean that Apple wouldn't be able to put a bigger screen on the iPhone 5. If rumours are true, a dual-core A5 chip, faster RAM and an aluminium back will all be on board the dual-SIM iPhone 5.
