Apple's release cycles are synchronised in such a way that the hype surrounding one new Apple product hasn't even died out when the company rolls out another product. Now, reports are that Apple is all set to update the iMac with all new Intel Sandy Bridge processors and Thunderbolt. CNET's Brian claims that 2011 iMac update may be coming real soon.

Brian, a CNET reporter, previously tweeted out information obtained from his sources, claiming that Apple is going to unveil the 2011 iMac line up which will tout Intel Sandy Bridge processors and Thunderbolt.
EXCLUSIVE: My Sources: New iMacs en route by ocean to U.S. available end of April or 1st week of May. No major cosmetic changes.
My sources say New iMacs will feature Sandy Bridge and Thunderbolt. No other specifics.
We’ll see if this pans out, but I’m highly confident in my source. If you’re looking for a new iMac. WAIT FOR IT!
The 2011 iMac update will bring the iMac at par with the new 2011 Macbook Pros, which also have Intel Sandy Bridge processors and Thunderbolt. Many are actually facing screen flicker issues when connecting to an external display via Thunderbolt, however it is said that Apple is going to address that problem in a software fix soon.
What does Apple plan to introduce in the 2011 iMacs? That, time will tell.
