How To Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad and iPod touch On Windows Using Sn0wbreeze 2.4

Windows users can now jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad and iPod touch using the just released Sn0wbreeze 2.4. Sn0wbreeze is a tethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1, meaning that you will have to boot in a tethered jailbroken state every time you restart your device.

Remember:

  • Ultrasn0w unlock for basebands 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00 is supported by Sn0wbreeze 2.3b4
  • Ultrasn0w will not unlock basebands 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01, 05.14.02, 05.15.04
  • You may lose your GPS if you upgrade your iPhone 3GS baseband, for unlock, to 06.15.00 iPad baseband hack
  • Sn0wbreeze 2.3b4 is only a tethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

    Please help….

    I have a brand new iphone 4. I jailbroke its original firmware 4.1 and without knowing what I’m doing, I updated it to 4.3.1. I tried to jailbreak it with Sn0wbreeze 2.4 and I’m doing everything as shown on the video, but it doesn’t jailbreak (it still shows that sign “Connect it to iTunes”). The phone is also locked and I don’t know how to find out which baseband it has.

      Your iPhone is stuck in recovery boot loop. Use a tool called iReb to get your device in pwned DFU mode and then do the custom ipsw restore as you normally would using iTunes. However, if you’v upgraded to stock iOS 4.3.1 from Apple, your iPhone 4 baseband will now be upgraded, and unfortunately there is no unlock for new iPhone 4 basebands as yet. let me know your baseband and i shall guide you accordingly.

        It isn’t stuck in recovery boot loop, but it is in “Emergancy call” and with that sign (connect to iTunes), its is like i never run Sn0wbreeze 2.4.
        Any idea what might be the reason for that?

        If you rely on a software unlock for your iPhone, then you’ve lost the unlock because stock iOS 4.3.1 firmware downloaded straight from Apple will upgrade your baseband to the ones that aren’t supported by ultrasn0w unlock just yet.
