We are nearing the end of March which also means the end of first quarter for those interested. As expected, analysts have chipped in with their iPad sales estimates for the first quarter and they believe that Apple tablet sales count span around five to nine million iPads.

Fortune started this iPad sales prediction game by asking 30 analysts to submit their iPad sales estimates. Chris Whitmore, an analyst at Deutsche Bank was the one who took the cautious approach and estimated the lowest sales of 5 million Apple Tablet units which includes two weeks of iPad 2 sales as well. Hendi Suntano was the person who provided the highest sales prediction of 8.8 million units.
Are you surprised on this impressive sales estimate? Well, I am not and neither should you since the iPad has proven itself to be magical. If you remember the iPad 2 launch event, Steve Jobs revealed that they sold around 15 million iPads in 2010 alone. And if this analysis is anything near the reality, the iPad will have another successful year which won't please its competitors one bit.
