Just two days ago, Stefan Esser, an iPhone hacker and security expert, showed his iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit on video. He didn't say when or if he planned on releasing his iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit. Now he has confirmed via twitter that he has given his iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit to the iPhone Dev Team which will begin implementation of it in to one of their tools after they've successfully finished internal beta testing of the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit.

Esser has said that the iPhone Dev Team is going to do the beta tests before they actually go ahead with implementing iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit into either PwnageTool for Mac or Redsn0w for Windows.

Also, it should be kept in mind that the untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak exploit will not work on the iPad 2 as Apple has fixed Comex's untethered jailbreak exploit in iOS 4.3.1. A entirely new exploit will be needed to jailbreak iPad 2.

Stay tuned as we'll bring you more updates on iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak when they come in. Meanwhile, here's how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 tethered using Sn0wbreeze 2.4.
