Believe it or not it's real. Sony introduced the concept of EyePet over a year ago but any people couldn't grasp their feeble minds around the concept of having an actual virtual pet. Still many approached to Sony's vision with excitement.

The EyePet is a virtual simulator that lets you interact with a totally customizable pet. You will be given a magic card through which you can play with the little guy, pet, groom or even feed him. You can further on teach him to draw shapes or behave in specific manners. Hell if he's sleeping, make some noise and he will wake up with a jump. Hold your hand up high and he will jump up and grab your finger tips. A very strong linking to realism, you can actually say yes I have a furry 2 foot virtual monkey as a pet.

A new feature update for the Xbox Live Dashboard was announced at E3 recently where Microsoft took the stage to show off a full Facebook integration on the Xbox Live. With this new update you can do all kinds of the social cliche stuff, like link up your Facebook friends and Xbox Live friends, and upload and share photos, or can even update your status right from your console.

Apart from this, a Twitter integration was also announced. Everything you do from your PC to keep in touch with the world can now be done right from your console.

Microsoft later on however stated that the Twitter and Facebook integrations for Xbox 360 will be individual apps instead of being part of a general dashboard update.

One of Microsoft’s marketing people, James Halton said the company is aiming for a release date around Autumn, but didn’t specify beyond that. He did although mention that say "it will be before Christmas" so there you have it, Facebook and twitter addicts can start pouncing on their consoles before this fall.

Stay in touch, we'll bring you more updates from the Xbox Live Dashboard package.

Borderlands is the latest and much anticipated RPG (Role Playing Game) from Gearbox Software. If you're still thinking as to whom they are then this might help, they are the creators of the Brothers In Arms franchise.

The game Borderlands has been planned to come out on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC systems. The game itself is featuring an amazing visual style and has a Fallout 3 theme to it. Which is good since Fallout 3 was a big smash hit and I personally found the game amazing.

However, there's one thing in this game that has been done for the first time, this new element is unique and seems far fetched. Borderlands is said to feature over 650,000 useable weapons.

Randy Pitchford, co-founder of Gearbox, said:

“650,000 guns is the safe number. We’ve now got some other new types of weapon classes and a lot of different weapon manufacturers and we have created a bunch of super rare and unique epic weapons and other gear, so the actual number of different weapons in the game is quite a bit higher than that. There are more weapons in Borderlands than in every shooter on both the 360 and PS3 added together.”

Pitchford explained as to how the game can include so many weapons. He said that the schematics are procedurally generated by part of the game’s AI, meaning each weapon is created out of a stock box of parts like Lego, only deadlier. The whole idea seems amazing yet I still have doubts on it.

The only way to check this claim out is to play the game when it comes out in October this year. 2K Games officially announced today that the game would hit North America on October 20th and UK on October 23.

Here are some screenshots of the game just to get your blood running.

Today we have in review Left For Dead 2 where we go personal with the new infected called as the Spitter.

Honestly! I'm no Left For Dead fan but after seeing the wave of new gameplay trailers from Valve for the sequel, I just might become one.

The sequel is supposed to have a more eerie theme than the original. In addition it will have more ammo packs for players so that u always have enough shells to blast a zombie herd. Not to forget that players will now be getting a new item called Adrenaline. It will work like pills but have a different effect. The effect allows players to constantly melee and also removes the slow down effect when infected are hitting you. The new effect will allow players to run if they find themselves separated from the team and can’t get away from the circle of zombies beating on them.

See the 'Spitter' in action in the video below:

There were talks on a new infected in the game but due to the murky gameplay no one could get a clear view of the new character. Here she is, her name is "Spitter" and her one spit can take down your whole team.

She, or it, lobs some green toxic sludge at you that puts an area of effect on the ground that will damage anyone with in the area. This combined with a Boomer attack can become a powerful attack combo. Have the Boomer rush in and vomit on the survivors disorienting them while pinning them with the sudden wave of zombies, then simply drop a Spitter wad at the feet of the pinned survivors and the rest will be history.

Here are some more screenshots of the game provided by Valve. These shots reminded me of the new weather effects that Valve mentioned earlier. They look good, the dense fog and rainy skies combined with zombie herds coming at you from the darkness is totally epic. The more Valve shows us of L4D2 the more we think it’s going to be a bigger and better game than L4D.

While you're welcome to buy the game, you will also be given the option to get yourself the Prestige Deluxe Edition.

This deal is surely one unique one and will most probably be jaw dropping for the Call Of Duty fans. The Prestige Edition will include a fully functional pair of night vision goggles. No it's not a toy, it's a real working piece of plastic. But the goggles are just not the only thing you'll get from this deal. In addition you'll receive an art book, limited Steelbook case and a token to download the original Call of Duty.

The Prestige Deluxe Edition of Mordern Warfare 2 will set you back $150. While we were expecting it to be worth a gazillion dollars, it really is just $150. Considering that a pair of night vision goggles cost around 100$ on Amazon, this deal is gold.

Infinity Ward also confirmed via its Twitter account that the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network versions of the original Call of Duty will have multiplayer support.

One thing I forgot to mention, The Prestige Edition also includes a head-shaped display stand for the goggles. They look so freakingly cool. Be sure to get one for your shelf.

Ever since video games got under the eyes of politicians, it has been a shaky relationship between both of them. If it was up to them they would send us back to the stone age but thankfully we still get to play games like Bioshock and will get to play God Of War 3.

But this is what you don't want; your company being the target of assault by an international hero Barack Obama. President Obama who strangely was for video games at the start of his campaign now openly disses Microsoft in a recent speech at the NAACP 100th anniversary event.

During the speech he said:

“We can’t tell our kids to do well in school and fail to support them when they get home. For our kids to excel, we must accept our own responsibilities. That means putting away the Xbox and putting our kids to bed at a reasonable hour.”

Wow for Microsoft fanboys that's a punch to the gut and its the same case for the PS3 cult too. Why put away the Xbox? Why not the PS3 or the Nintendo Wii? It's kind of funny isn't it? Even though President Obama took a swipe at Microsoft in an international conference, it kind of states that Microsoft is still ruling the consoles era. So props to Microsoft.

Microsoft however were not contented with just this. Even though we understand that President Obama was talking about video games as a whole, this just didn't do it for Microsoft. Hence they took the President’s slight condemnation and spun it into a positive point.

They replied with:

"We agree with President Obama that it’s a time for families to work together so that kids use media in ways that are safe, healthy and balanced. Xbox 360 is the only console gaming system that has a timer feature allowing parents to set time limits for their kids, as well as parent controls to enable parents to set limits on what their kids are playing and watching."

That’s some major craftiness on Microsoft's part. They turned Obama’s remark into an endorsement of sorts.

Now this is what I love dearly about PC gaming. Sure we don't get some of the great titles (damn you Blizinski) but look on the bright side we get plenty of other marvelous stuff for the titles we have. The same was expected of Street Fighter 4 as soon as it was released on PC.

Within a short time modders had already started working on it and brought out some of the finest custom made skins there is. In addition to that our hard working modders even brought out a nude patch for the game. Take that consoles, hoorah.

The credit for the skins goes directly to the Shoryuken Community. Here are, in my view the top 10 SFIV skins for PC.

10. Ryu (Goku)

It was sad to see such less creativity on Ryu's costume design. I mean he is practically the character around which the Street Fighter Universe revolves. The best they could come up with was to drag Goku here. But I guess I can see the similarities. Both practice martial arts, both are considered super strong beings and hell both shoot fireballs. But hold on, Goku had a monkey tail... Who want's to check Ryu out?

09. Blanka (Lobo)

An awesome skin in my opinion. Blanka as lobo looks even more meaner. Lobo is a DC character, strong has hell, bent on destruction and drives a hog. I don't suppose Blanka will be in favor of riding one but he looks good in Lobo's shorts.

08. Sagat (Kratos)

The God of War is back. Kratos probably was bored since the launch of GOW3 is far away. Hence, he did a surprised entry on SFIV...yeah right. Sagat considered awfully over powering and imbalanced in the game can now kick even more butt in the shoes of Kratos. The tattoos seem alright but the over all feel... I just don't like it. They could have done much better with Sagat in my opinion. He wears an eye patch for crying out loud. Make him Blackbeard or something.

07. Zangief (Mr T)

Zangief has been overdone in them all. He has the most skins in total. Over here he's shown as the defender of good, the unique haircut hero, Mr T. Hair cut (Check), Rings (Check), Army pants and boots (Double Check), Chains (....) You got it. The modders forgot about Mr T's extensive set of gold chains that he wears around his neck. That should have been there. It's what makes him pity the fool. It would have made the skin super. ITS T TIME!

06. Blanka (Berserker)

This skin is super. I mean just look at it. Blanka seems ready to outdo the joker. Those crazy eyes will look even crazier once the camera zooms in for the ultimate combo strikes. I just wish he had gotten a big clown smile...

05. Dhalsim (Gandhi)

It's okay to laugh because I did too. Are they ingenious or what? Gandhi in Street Fighter? I mean it goes against all of his beliefs. But hell check out his costume. Everything perfectly done, down to even his glasses. Oh my God, this skin is gold. Very very impressive work.

04. Zangief (Hulk Hogan)

We have Zangief again in our top 10 list. This time he's the American hero Hulk Hogan. This skin is going to be on the top downloaded list, believe you me. Who doesn't want to smash bones with Hogan? I just hope he does the "Can't hear you, shout louder" taunt.

03. Fei Long (Bruce Lee)

Boards don't hit back... that's why I play Street Fighter! When they first talked about making Fei Long's skin I was damn sure that it would be one of those tekken LAW skins where the Chinese guy is covered from head to toe in some oriental garb. But I never expected it to be this. The claw marks from "Enter The Dragon" Bruce Lee is back kids. Learn from his wisdom.

02. Cammy (Harley Quinn)

You might want to know that cammy has 3-4 other skins. One in which she is a sailor, another i which she is wearing a bikini, and another and another but if you want those kind of skins just install the nude patch wont you. Now this skin, the harley quinn... ah a classic. I get these nostalgic waves even now. It's like only yesterday when I was reading Batman comics. Anyway coming back to the topic, this skin is awesome, period.

01. Akuma (Glowing Veins)

And the winner is Akuma. This guy is my favorite character in the whole series. A superhuman that has even superseded Ryu, his past and powers shrouded in mystery. Regarding the skin, well its a simple one yet so elegant. Now that's a way to overwhelm your opponent. Make him see your glowing veins.
