Google Saree for Hot Desi Babes

Lately we have seen that a lot of designers have adopted the strategy of incorporating a big brand name in their product to get free marketing.

Satya Paul has done quite the same in making the Google Saree. Saree is a popular traditional desi wear (particularly famous in India, Pakistan etc) which makes one look quite glamorous and appealing.

High-five to Keith for digging this up. If only I could somehow purchase this Saree online, it would have been the perfect gift to give to my girlfriend on her birthday

Solar Powered Bra for Energetic Women

How cool would it be if your bra had the energy to charge your mobile phone or power-up your iPod. Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd had the same concept in mind while making the Solar powered Bra.

This is not the first time we have seen a Japanese company get creative with Bra technologies. Last year Angel Kitty, another Japanese company, came up with a USB Bra Keyboard.

The Solar powered Bra basically features a solar panel worn around the stomach. The panel requires light to generate electricity which can then be used to power up gadgets and mobiles. This is not coming to stores anytime soon but whenever it does I hope it has a feature to charge the iPhone

Last time I made a post on 10 Reasons Why Linux Ubuntu is Better than Windows which sparked a very controversial debate. This time I am trying my best not to target Windows rather just review Ubuntu 8.04 in itself and give you 10 reasons that will make you download and try Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.

1. Long Term Support - After Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake, this is the next LTS (Long Term Support) release which means that long term support will be provided for the desktop edition (upto 3 years) and also for the server edition (upto 5 years).

2. Install Ubuntu within Windows - This new release gives you the option to install Ubuntu along side Windows all thanks to Wubi. No need to format your hard-disk for Linux now.

3. Operate more Safe & Secure - Even though Linux is already considered safe as compared to Windows, Hardy has been programmed to make it more secure and private.

Reasons why iPod Touch is Better than Unlocked iPhone

I am feeling really excited right now as I am holding the youngest family member of Apple iPod Series in my hand. iPod Touch is still one of those new gadgets which have marked revolution in the Tech industry in terms of low price and good quality.

It really feels great to be the owner of the Apple iPod Touch as it is still one of the most talked about gadgets. I wish I could shoot a live video to show you my experience but I guess you would have already seen a lot of iPod Touch videos on YouTube.

Originally my plan was to get an unlocked iPhone here in Pakistan but soon changed my mind and bought the iPod Touch instead. Here are some reasons I would like to give in my defense for preferring the iPod Touch over an unlocked iPhone.

Lightweight - Thats true! though the difference of mass is just of some grams but still iPod Touch beats iPhone because its more lightweight and easy to handle.
More Slim -The iPhone has a 12mm thickness while the iPod Touch is only 8mm thick. Your hands will definitely feel the difference.
No Unlock Required - This is the biggest reason why I preferred iPod Touch over the iPhone. iPod Touch does not come locked with any service provider and can be used easily out of the box while on the other hand everyone knows that the iPhone comes exclusively for AT&T users.
Better Screen - Though both of the gadgets come with a cool scratch-less screen, the thing that makes iPod Touch better is its better video resolution and response time.
$100 Cheaper than iPhone - iPod Touch comes with a price of $299 which is $100 cheaper than the iPhone. There is 99.9% probability that you will have a phone already. Then why waste extra $100?

Please remember that this post compares iPod Touch and an Unlocked iPhone (not a normal iPhone) so before bombarding any comments like iPhone is the best ever, You suck DJ please keep that in mind.

iPhone integrated Concept Car (Land Rover LRX)

We have already seen that the best and easiest way to market your product in today’s industry would be to relate it to the Apple wonder phone i.e. the Apple iPhone somehow and then wait for the word to spread around the globe.

Land Rover has very cleverly done the same in the Land Rover LRX concept car. Land Rover LRX is a new concept car (that probably won’t ever see the production line) but will definitely boast something (a full-fledge iPhone integration) that is bound to attract a lot of people.

It is hard to say whether the car will only have an iPhone slot or whether the iPhone will be electronically connected to the car thus controlling all its functions but if ever there is to be an iPhone integrated car it wouldn’t be so much amazing unless the luxurious car is fully controlled through the iPhone (which is more than just an ideal approach right now)

Most iPhone users have had good experiences but there are also users who had their life’s most worst experiences after buying an iPhone.

The good thing is that the guy went to the Apple store and they replaced his broken iPhone with a brand new one for absolutely no cost and 100% free.
