Download iPhone Firmware 2.0.1

Apple has finally pushed the new iPhone Firmware 2.0.1 to iTunes. The new firmware will fix minor problems in the iPhone and iPod Touch related to slow feedback and keyboard lag.

The original iPhone 2.0 Firmware made a lot of applications crash and hopefully this bug will also be fixed in this new firmware.

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Mockup Designs

Ubuntu Linux fans have their hopes high for Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex as it will feature a complete new user interface and a stylish new brownish-black theme which we have already witnessed in some of the screenshots for the Alpha build.

Canonical is planning to surpass Mac OS X in the next coming two years but without a revolutionary change in the Ubuntu GUI it is close to impossible. Will has made a good attempt by designing some of the best mockups of Intrepid Ibex ever and with such a design, Ubuntu can easily take over Mac OS X soon enough.

Kiobo Lets You Share and Discover the Websites You Like

Kiobo is a new social browsing solution that lets users discover new websites based on their interests by learning from the sites they visit. It has got a unique user interface much different than other social browsing solutions like Me.dium and also lets user share the websites they like.

The web service runs on flash and primarily has two parts, one is the main GUI which shows a live social graph of other users discovering and sharing new websites and second is the sidebar which shows your browsing history interests.

Access to Blocked Web Pages Directly via Email

Believe or not but old methods and techniques used to access blocked websites such as web proxies, proxy tools and Hex converters are of no use anymore as the ISPs have become more vigilant than ever.

However, using a service called WebToMail (discovered by Blogote), users can still get access to blocked web pages directly via email.

Prevent Mails From Being Auto Marked as Spam in Gmail

Even though Gmail features one of the best spam prevention, detection and anti-spam technology, it still sometimes fails to differentiate between the good, the bad and the ugly.

Realizing the fact that no technology is 100% accurate or fool-proof, the Gmail team has introduced a new filter called ‘Never send it to Spam’ which can be used to prevent mails from being auto-marked as Spam in Gmail.
