Utility to Monitor System Performance and Memory Usage

Your computer can often go low on resources when you are using high-memory programs or applications. Firefox is an example of one such program which uses a very high portion of your RAM. Running a program like Firefox simultaneously with another high-memory like Adobe Photoshop can literally drain all the memory out of a 512MB RAM.

freemeter.gifIn other cases, if your computer is consuming too much of your RAM and there seem to be no program running then its most likely that your operating system is infected by a virus or a worm.

In such cases, using the Task Manager is not the ultimate solution therefore a better utility is needed to monitor your system memory and performance and thats where FreeMeter comes in.

FreeMeter is a free utility that monitors system performance and memory usage. Basically it was designed to provide users with a tool that itself uses the minimum amount of memory and at the same time keep a log of all applications that are using the system resources.
