No wonder you did not see some spicy and Interesting posts on this blog this week. Thats because my 3rd semester final exams are on my head and as usual I am forced to study so I am giving this blog a little less than usual time. However this did not keep me from changing my theme and redesigning my theme. My readers really like this new theme which is basically based on the Fresh theme. I personally think the new theme has more web 2.0 effect and increased visibility.
My Internet Ramblings and Blog discoveries never came to an end even though I am busy with my studies stuff lol. I would like to declare Clazh as my favorite of the week. I discovered this blog since its writer came to discussions at sizlopedia. You can call it a a blog with beauty and brains. Moreover I am experiencing an increase in my blog traffic but a decrease in my adsense earnings. I hope this gets stable pretty soon though.

To gain publicity and fame in the blogosphere you have to struggle a lot. There is a no doubt that you will find hundreds of tips in the blogosphere that tell you how to publicize and expose yourself but only some of them are effective.
Make Yourself a Blogo Logo Shirt
The most effective way in which you can publicize your blog is to make yourself a blog logo shirt for which you must have a unique logo for your blog. Just like the shirt prototype you see for sizlopedia in this post. I am considering to make about a 100 shirts branded with the sizlopedia logo and shall give them away for free by organizing some blog contest. In this way not only will my blog be publicized among the public but I will also get exposure for this unique idea.

You Know You are Addicted To Blogging when….
It is a common observation in most of the bloggers that they don’t know when their hobby becomes an addictive drug. For me Blogging is now more like feeding myself with the latest organics rather than just writing about my interests and hobbies. We are already aware of the fact that Google tries its best to rule our lives. Whether we want it or not but Google has the ability to dominate our virtual personalities i.e. our online personalities. Google Can now Catch Those Paid Links
It was a topic of big debate among webmasters, and still is, that whether Google allows paid links or not? and even if it does not, then how is it supposed to catch the people who buy/sell links on their websites/blogs? Most webmasters were of the opinion that its virtually impossible for Google to catch paid links on a site as there is a no clear distinction between a simple link and a paid link but Google has now built a trap for those people who violate Google’s terms of services.

I have always treated “Humour” and “Fun” as the biggest tools of attracting audience to my blog. Though I blog about Technology related stuff but the sweet of Humour overpowers the spice of Technology when it comes to seducing new readers to my blog and keeping in mind this dominating behavior of humour I have mixed a bit of humour with some Technology Spice on my Blog.

It is very important to monitor each and every activity on your blog e.g. from where visitors come to your blog? what content do they like the most? what is your blog’s overall performance and etc. For this there are a number of stat script services available online but Google analytics remains the number one choice of most of the webmasters because of its user friendly layout and detailed statistics.
Google Analytics adds New Features To its System
About a month ago, we were introduced to the New Google Analytics Layout which impressed most of the webmasters because of its enriched-stats features and in-depth analysis. However this was still new layout was still in beta phase and the old layout was still available for users who did not like the new one. Previously when there was a buzz about Gmail’s latest features it was about the new up sized file attachment size which had been increased to 20 MB solid. This was a good initiative by Microsoft as it would allow Gmail users to upload and email home videos as well as mail big size presentations.

Google Reader is indeed the best Feed Reading service of all those that I have used online. I love its ajax interface, its stylish look, ability to share, star and tag feeds and other cool features. The best thing is that it is powered by Google. Until now it was an online service but thanks to the birth of Google Gears, Google Reader can now also be used offline.
