Google Music Trends

Even Though Google is more like an open Book to us now we still keep on finding new Google services that really interest us. Although I know that most of the people in the Blogosphere are already aware of Google's Music Trends Feature still I would like to share it those who find the service new.

Google Music Trends is a feature introduced by Google Labs that tell us about the Popular Music Culture that is invogue among the Google Talk Users.

Every Google Talk user who has opted in to Music Trends will cast their vote automatically, each time they listen to music on their computer. Google gathers this information and displays the trends by genre, listing the favorite songs and artists in each category.

Participating in Google Music Trends

Participating in Google Music Trends is very easy. All you need to do is get Get Google Talk and opt in to Google Music Trends using the Settings. Now whenever you will listen to music using iTunes, Winamp, Windows Media Player, or Yahoo Music Engine , you'll be voting on Google Music Trends.

Music Search History

Not only does Google give you the opportunity to participate in Google Music Trends rather you can have you own Personalized Google Music Search History. This enlists the songs you have been listening too and creates respective popular Trends accordingly thus giving you a way to see what music you have listening to in the past.
