Battle of The Beauties

It truely seems unreal that Google or Yahoo would really be engaged in any type of battle relating to their search engine looks and beauty but this is true and it looks so that both of the big search engine daddies are trying their best to capture the mind of the Internet audience through their bewitching design tactics.

I think the real battle is regarding the usability. So far, in terms of search interface, Google has done the better job because it focuses only on search, while Yahoo tries to integrate the search interface in their design, having a heavier header & stuff, too many images.

By the way, there is a legend which says that Google’s interface is so simple because Larry & Sergey didn’t know HTML :P

Smarty Blog Well the fact remains that Google will perhaps always dominate the search engine market no matter how stylish Yahoo tries to be

Nirmal You are always welcome

Shankar Heheh  matches the article well now doesn’t it?

  • If its a beauty contest, the winner is Yahoo….Google always sticks to the “All White” philosophy except recently they gave some color to iGoogle…

  • Dj Flush says:

Byte of Technology Lol I don’t want to make this topic more funnier  But don’t you think Google is the Beauty with Brains?

Yahoo on the other hand is something synonymous to Beauty with Attitude

No wonder why the Brains always beat the attitude
