WoW!!! That’s a huge list to choose from…

  • Dj Flush May 27, 2007, 7:45 pm

Byte of Technology Indeed it is  There are still a lot many services out there but they are not worth it. These 20 were the best and most reliable ones 😎

  • Julius May 27, 2007, 9:28 pm

I use http://www.mintemail.com. I was a big fan of mailinator before I discovered mintemail. I think mintemail is the easiest and most user friendly temporary email services. For instance, the temporary email address is automatically copied to your clipboard and you don’t need to press CTRL+C. Also, you don’t need to refresh the page to check if your email has arrived. The webpage title is automatically updated and this is very useful in firefox tabs.

  • Mateja May 28, 2007, 1:43 am

    Also email.bugmenot.com

  • Ian May 28, 2007, 9:32 am

Sneakemail.com is also a very good one I have used for a while. I like this one because the emails do look very random and allows some neat rules when you are finished with the address.
Also, it is not as mainstream so not blocked by some providers who only want the real email address.

  • Jordan Meeter May 28, 2007, 9:42 am

I’m pretty disappointed to not see SpamGourmet on the list…

http://www.emailmiser.com is a really nice one as well – super simple, and their big advantage is that you can send email to disposable addresses at at least 20 different domain names.

  • Brian May 29, 2007, 9:30 pm

Thanks for leaving http://www.spamify.com off the list. Not only is it faster then the rest, you can also reply to messages sent to your temporary email address, which most services don’t offer.

The author has missed a new temp email website.

The owner of that site, has also added a really cool widget. It allows people for $ 1 to add a Text URL of there website as an advert. I have already added an advert.

So you get a great temp email, and a chance to advertise your business – cool idea

  • Catherine November 24, 2007, 4:20 am

I like IncognitoMail. It checks emails automatically and changes the page title if you have an email. You can also subscribe to an RSS feed for your address. Plus, I think they have a cute logo.

  • Jerry November 24, 2007, 2:21 pm

  • NZ'er February 19, 2008, 11:51 am

Found this site, and it’s brilliant.

Mainly because of the short url so its an easier email address, and its just easy to use and fast.

    Easy ae?

  • Sorkny March 28, 2008, 6:28 pm

MailCatch seems to be of the same kind, it appeared very recently. I tried it and it works just fine. I’m sold!

    spambox.us is pretty neat

  • Dre April 17, 2008, 6:53 am

I’ve been using http://www.briefemail.com for the past couple days and it has worked great for me.

  • lear April 29, 2008, 10:13 pm

It’s great to see that not one comment is from spammers saying things like…”this will only work for a short time”…No spammers are commenting because temporary and disposable emails work against spam and there is nothing they can do about it.

Three cheers for something that is finally a 100% solution against spam that will work forever.

  • Al May 3, 2008, 8:24 pm

I use http://www.selfdestructingmail.com — They offer temporary email addresses that last for 30 minutes with the option to subscribe to a RSS feed for that disposable email alias. You can reply to emails as well.

  • Nistou De May 8, 2008, 2:34 am

Provides temporary / disposable / self destructing email addresses that are valid for 30 minutes.

You can view received emails on the webpage or subscribe to an RSS feed which delivers all mail received to that address while it’s valid.

You can reply to e-mails as well.

This is ideal for signing up to forums or other online services which require valid email addresses for activation emails without worrying about having your real email address exposed to spammers.

  • wing defender June 12, 2008, 9:33 pm

Ever heard of litedrop?? No signup, rss feeds, easy access, very nice clean and fast! http://www.litedrop.com :) goodluck anyway

  • Paul Grant July 23, 2008, 1:05 am

A friend refered me to a new site ( http://www.soodonims.com ) that I am very happy with.
It allows unlimitted emails, they can be expired by time or quantity. You can also see who (which domain) is sending the emails to you and you ca selectively turnoff the misbehavers. It has a nice interface and gives you lots of infoata glance.
It has a nice interface and easyto you. I used to use Spam Gourmet but it was very confusing.

  • spammed to death July 30, 2008, 6:45 am

Thanks for the word Paul. I have been confused by this selection process for a while, guess you have to pick one sometime!

Cool site (soodonims), I am trying it out. Now I WANT to find someone to spam me after I register. Anyone know any sites that will for sure? Or ones who sell your names?

I love living on the edge :)

Apparently the way soodonims works (and others), is that they just ignore spam mail based on your instructions. We should start a campaign advertising spammer sites, have people signup with disposable aliases, and then deactvate them. That way they waste their bandwidth and never know it.

  • marc August 21, 2008, 8:34 pm
  • SoodonimsConvert August 22, 2008, 7:33 am

Been on http://www.soodonims.com for a week.
Very happy. Nice system. Clean and easy to use.
Was on Mailinator for a while, IMHO this is better. Haven’t tried them all of course.
Now I need a service where I can send emails.
    Thanks Paul

  • Coolguy February 28, 2009, 4:48 am

YOPmail is the best in my opinion . it is free, reliable and multilingual service.

I have been using mailnator and other leading services for a while. They have downtimes, and unlike yopmail delete the mails in few hours. But yopmail keeps the messages for 5 days.

YOPmail stands out is being the most neat, quick, and user-friendly disaposable service around. Have used it for sometime now , it has never disappointed me. There si no registration required, and it can be used on the fly.

It has some pretty creative options like widgets, and RSS feeds. furthermore, it is possible to switch between html and text view and to display all email headers.

Also, one can choose his own username while composing a mail. There are a few domain names a user can choose from. Email aliases, and random email generator is also available.

Serves all my purpose conveniently 😉

  • vova April 12, 2009, 9:20 pm
