To be honest I am bored of the Gmail skin that I have been using for so long now. Even Windows Live Mail and Yahoo Mail both allow you to change the appearance of your mail box but Gmail is lacking behind in this regard. We can’t get to use any new skin for Gmail but it sure is interesting to see a Gmail like skin made by some other company and I have got that right here for you.
Zmail is The New and Famous Gmail Look-alike
Zimbra has recently designed a skin that resembles the very well known Gmail skin and they have named it Zmail. For all those who are wondering what is Zimbra?
Zimbra is a (partial open source) alternative to Microsoft Exchange - Enterprise e-mail.
For all those wondering whats so special in a copied design. Zimbra made this skin to show the customization potential of their interface and they have indeed done an awesome job. The skin is not available publicly and cannot be purchased also.

To be honest I don’t think Google has big plans for Gmail right now but you never know. On the alternative I would never give Greasemonkey scripts a try because I am not a blow-up-my-firefox-memory fan lol
