Images of 3rd Gen iPod nano, Fake or Real?

Oh well now that the iPhone hype has come to a cool end we have another sexy gadget to look forward to and it is none other than the 3rd Gen Apple iPod. Perhaps it is considered as the next big gadget yet to come and already we can see rumors going on about it everywhere.

Leaked Images of 3rd Gen iPod nano

GearLive recently posted the leaked images of 3rd Gen iPod nano which it claims to have got through some anonymous sources. However the authenticity of these images is still at a stake and no one knows really whether they are real or fake. Just take a look at the images and decide whether they look genuine to you or not. Though most of the commentators at GearLive think that the images are fake.

    look at the under no turn on button switches... those are real hold switch and aux jack

    It is fake. I sell Ipods for Apple, and those pics are all fake. The entire body is rounded, bottom included. Nothing is square about it except the screen.. which happens to be the same as Gen 4.. FYI except instead of it being horizontal, its vertical now(Gen 4). Hope you all like it! :)

    There is the real iPod. I've got the iPod nano 3rd generation.

    You guys aren't very observitive, it's definitly fake.

    - the new iPod nano does not come in a shiney silver colour
    -the control circle is smaller in these pictures then the one on the actual 3rd gen nano.
    -the third gen nano is shaped differently in these pictures that the actual one.
    -apple didn't make these pictures for ipod nano, so someone else did

    All this looks like is a stretched 2nd gen ipod nano.

    So it may have been close, but are not real pictures.

  • They are not fake! They are real. Apple recently released their new version of iPod Nano. One of the best feature in the new version is that they also support video playback feature.

  • I got it! Its fake, the image inside the ipod screen is that of iPhones music player's amazing function which flips the album cover of the song/brand!

  • Looks fake to me too but to be honest I am not much of an iPod or iPhone fan so I don't really care much but I would love to see the reaction of Apple-ware fans towards these images :P
