Download Windows Live Suite and Unified Installer

windows live suite

Finally the Google Pack competitor is here and its ready to go live. Windows Live Suite or Windows Live Installer was a much awaited app of this season to be released by Microsoft. The app was a collection of all Windows Live Betas and was said to give Google Pack a tough competition. However until now the scenario suggests that Windows Live Suite won’t be a big threat to Google Pack as the applications included in Windows Live Installer have different functionality and use to that of ones included in Google Pack.

Windows Live Suite and Windows Live Intsaller

Windows Live Suite or the Windows Live Unified Installer (WLInstaller.exe) is a very small size (1.7 MB) application that will let you download and install different Windows Live Beta Services and Products. This way you won’t have to hunt down individual Windows Live Beta applications and you can download them all at once through a single interface. The download and installation time will depend on number of services you choose to download and the speed of your computer system.

The different applications included in the Windows Live Installer are:

  • Windows Live Mail
  • Windows Live Messenger
  • Windows Live Photo Gallery
  • Windows Live Writer
  • Windows Live Toolbar
  • Windows Live One Care Family Safety

You can also choose different Settings before downloading e.g. use windows live search by default or set your browser home page to MSN.com etc.

For me I think I just need to download and install Windows Live Photo Gallery as I have all rest Windows Live Beta apps.

Download Windows Live Installer

Download Windows Live Installer directly or visit the home page to download beta products of your choice and spread the Live experience.

Hi
Hey really nice site..quite professional and kool. I am Gaurav, pursuing engineering in Chemical/Petroleum from India. And I amm having a small blog on windows tricks at http://gaufire.blogspot.com. Would you mind if I use your post on “putting your name on windows taskbar” on my blog. No doubt I’ll add your backlink in the post and will add your link to http://gaufireblogstuff.blogspot.com too.

Regards Gaurav

First of all buddy I am glad that you even asked for my permission because there are other idiots who copy content without taking author’s permission and then do not even feel sorry for it.

You can republish my post but mind it NOT WORD TO WORD. You can recreate the idea of the post in your own words but I would certainly not allow you to copy and publish the post as it is.

Hi,Dj,do you have any idea of downloading individual installers?I got the installer of all the programs from the update log,but they can not be installed. If you have any method to make it happen, please tell me.

Unfortunately I don’t know any such method through which you can download individual installers.

I am myself using the single installer that downloads and updates all programs.

Hi! found a way to install behind a proxy server. I’ve described it on my newly started blog. Also, it keeps the individual msi installers in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows Live\MSISources.
