Of course not every blog on the blogosphere gives you links to download and try the new beta version of Windows Live Messenger 9.0. I was lucky enough to grab a sneak preview of Windows Live Messenger 9.0 Beta and by the courtesy of Tech Today I am even able to let my users download it.

Previously I discussed Windows Live Messenger 9.0 Beta Features but who knew that we are going to hit the jackpot so soon.

Originally the Windows Live Messenger 9.0 (Leaked Beta Version) application was uploaded to Softpedia lately and to save this precious software good handlers like me created extra mirrors for others to download. The software build is 9.0.1407.110.

Update: All the mirrors have been removed due to legal complications. However an official download link for the software is provided below.

    Had a sneak peak of this (not worth keeping a beta now is it?) and must say that the new features look very cool!

    They need to work out a way of checking where you are ‘also’ logged on for security, I’ve noticed they have already added a box so that you can still only log in to one zone at a time which will please a lot of people. I can see the multi-site login being very useful when I talk to people on my PDA Live Messenger and then be able to save my conversations on my PC when I get back.

    Also, the animated buddy pics is cool, though I fear it could get annoying if people start using really bright strobing pics while I’m trying to chat to them. I guess you could just hide the buddy pic though.

    This is too soon to download and it still needs a few corrections to be made. so I am going to wait until the absolute full version is out there and until everyone else has it. I don’t wanna download it and it turns out to be some spam kind of thing that totally corrupts my computer soI suggest you take my advice and wait for a little while.

    I downloaded, and it said please insert messenger disk or something, I canceled that and opened messenger. But it wont let me sign in. It instantly says error code: 800700f?

    I’m so sorry! I couldn’t download it! When I click on one of the mirrors, it opens another page called Rapidshare and there is no link to download the messenger! what should I do?

    Oh! and it also says that it has been deleted!

    I have checked all the mirrors twice dude. All seem to be working fine.

    Once you click the download link, rapidshare site will open and then you have to choose “Free” to get the original download link.

    I don’t get what leaked means? I downloaded MSN but then it turned out to be Spanish so I uninstalled it and tried to install it again, but it wont let me install it. Can someone tell me what the problem is?

    You just have to click one of links provided to you in the end and proceed to the download. Thats all!

    Please make a mirror that uses MediaFire…Rapidshare is one of the worst ones.

    Hey many thanks for this beta version!!! But i tried doing a voice so people can hear when i sign in!! I tried but it didn’t work!!! Or does them people have to have the beta version to hear my sound!! Can some1 help?

    Every time I try to download windows live whether it’s the beta version or not, it won’t let me. Does anyone know why this could be? I just recently redid my computer and started fresh.

    When I download it, install it, open it, and sign in, my messenger window is all screwed up, and when someone talks to me, I can’t read what they are saying cause the windows are all screwed up.

    It is the file sharing folder installed by Windows Live Messenger on software installation.

    It is completely safe. You don’t need to worry!

    Thanks Dj Flush, I really appreciate you replying. I installed it seven times and removed it seven times but the folder remains. So I removed it completely. I love it though, it’s one of the best messengers I’ve seen. Just that the folder bugged me. Thanks again guys!

    Hi guys! this new msn looks great! it has a fresh new look and also it hasal the features we all used to share. Its good if you want a modern msn. try it i used mirror 1 and no problems were caused!:D
