Firefox Extension to Update Twitter Status

Until recently, I was not a big fan of Twitter as I found the idea of shouting tweets totally absurd. But soon I realized that Twitter is more than just a social friend activity notifier. It can get really addictive and is also very fun to use.

First I started off using Twitter for Google Chat to post my notifications and updates and then I tried Spaz and Twhirl (Adobe AIR clients for Twitter) but as soon as I discovered TwitterFox, I gave up on all of the rest 3rd party Twitter clients.

TwitterFox is a Firefox browser extension that allows you to post twitter notifications from right within your browser. If you spend most of your time in Firefox then this is perhaps the best Twitter solution for you. It not only enables you to post twitter notifications rather it also checks your Twitter account for friend tweets and updates.

It is a light application which takes less space on your screen and can be minimized easily without any complex operations. If you are a Firefox and Twitter addict then TwitterFox is definitely for you.

Yes you are right, TwitterFox is one of the most nicely crafted applications for twitter. Well, btw the spelling of Twhirl are wrong :P

I personally use something called TweetBar which replaced something I used called TwitBin. I’m glad I switched because TweetBar seems to work much better than Twit bin in terms of connecting to Twitter and less EXCEEDED API errors.
