Order Free CDs of Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex

If there is one thing I love about Ubuntu apart from it being a free operating-system, it is the popular Ubuntu ShipIt service which allows users to order free Ubuntu CDs.

The next release of Ubuntu i.e. Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex is just a week away from its official launch and Ubuntu ShipIt has already started accepting pre-orders for Ubuntu desktop and server editions.

Of course the CDs will be shipped to your doorstep free of charge but if you have got a fairly fast Internet connection it is recommended for you to wait till Ocotber 30 and download the ISO directly and burn to a CD.
