Is Apple done with the announcements for the month of April? The answer is a two letter word No. According to Macworld Australia, the Cupertinos will be unleashing the updated MacBook Pro this coming Tuesday, i.e. on 13th April, which users have been waiting for a while.

Macworld became aware of this development thanks to a source who happens to know quite a bit about Apple's product cycle and inventory levels. So what does all of this mean? We are onto something real.

The updated MacBook Pro will bring with them the Core iX family of processors, which alone is enough to have you excited. All editions of MacBook except for MacBook Air will be getting the hardware update. So do you intend to purchase the updated Mac machines, provided they roll out this Tuesday?

I am a media director at my local church, due to funding, 4 years ago all we could afford was a Dell Desktop that I bring back and forth in a suitcase every Sunday.

So, am I going to buy a 17 inch MacBook Pro with an i7? The answer is a three letter word, yes.

You definitely will enjoy that! Provided the update really is next tuesday. Sure hope it is, I'm tired of waiting, but I don't want to buy a current one knowing that the update is probably right around the corner. I would be kicking myself if I bought a Core 2 Duo model, and a week later the update is released for the same or even less money.

I hope this isn't another letdown.
