Earlier we shared some leaked photos of the 4th Generation iPhone with aluminium unibody enclosure; however later it was revealed that the photos were indeed fake. But we have more!
Here what we have are some photos published by Engadget; which they claim as the real and genuine photos of the iPhone 4G (or iPhone HD) which is set to be launched by Apple this June.
Apparently the phone was found on the floor of a San Jose bar inside of an iPhone 3G case. Right now we don't have a ton of info on the device in question, but we can tell you that it apparently has a front facing camera (!), 80GB of storage (weird, right?), and isn't booting at this point (though it was previously, and running an OS that was decidedly new).
Engadget claims that they have access to the device and they are working on to bring in more information; as of now it is not booting up.
Gruber, the Apple Guru, suggests that the photos are a hoax mainly because "prototypes likes this almost never leave Apple's secure rooms on campus, before product introduction". Another theory claims that it might be nothing more than an Chinese iPhone knock-off.
