The world's most famous cross-platform Twitter client - TweetDeck has finally made it's way to the Android platform (in beta) and it sure is hell slick, sexy and gorgeous. Here comes the official word.
You begged. You pleaded. You offered us all manner of enticements, some of which we think may be illegal in some countries. We took this to mean that you really wanted TweetDeck on your Android device, and we agreed!So without any further ado, we are delighted to announce that a beta version of our Android app is now officially available!
This new app for Android brings the same features as found in the desktop and iPhone version of TweetDeck - blended columns, slick user-interface, options for multiple social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz and Foursquare.
As I tested the app on my Nexus One, the clean interface is what appealed me the most. However since the app is only in beta there is a lack of customizability toggles such as ability to change the font-size, choose an image uploader for Twitter etc but we hope that in the final version all such issues will be addressed and taken care of.
