Here is Toshiba, once again with an 'only-their' category of Smart Pads. The specs are public now (they have been leaked) and it looks to be a Tegra 2-powered Android 2.2 Smart Pad. Well! One thing will leave you amazed and it is none other than the claimed official name of the tablet which, most people think, is not a good one to start with.

'Folio 100', that's what they are calling it. This Smart Pad is full of attractive functions such as Android OS, Nvidia Tegra processor, speakers, networking functions, a battery time of up to 7 hours. What else can one long for? Here are some of the other features in detail:

The tablet boasts Android 2.2 with a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and a 10.1" multitouch widescreen display. 16GB internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, HDMI/USB ports and a SD card reader. On the soft-side we have Opera Mobile Browser with Flash 1.10, productivity suite of office applications, PDF reader, ebook reader and a RSS aggregator.

Toshiba is looking forward to get its own package of applications for attaining a strong position in the Android Market. It is expected to be launched in the September/October session so give your hearts a little break if you can.
