That was fast! While the Mac world was taken by storm with Apple's release of the ravishingly stunning new MacBook Air, it seems so that Apple has had to issue for its  newly-introduced MacBook Air, the very first software patch. Should it be a rather embarrassing appearance for this software update as the new device has depicted bugs almost right out of the box?

Rather Apple should be lauded for the prompt fixing of the said error, within almost 24 hours of product release!

Apple describes this particular software update as fixing a few graphics issues which are said to arise when the Mac is used to watch movie trailers on iMovie or an external display. Apple recommends the update for all MacBook Airs.

Here's what Apple says:

MacBook Air (Late 2010) Software Update 1.0 resolves an issue where a MacBook Air (Late 2010) computer may become unresponsive while playing back movie trailers in iMovie. The update also addresses an issue where the computer may become unresponsive after waking from sleep when an external display is connected and also contains general graphics performance updates.
