Apple Testing Multitouch Gestures Internally for iPhone 4

Folks over at BGR have got their hands on some exclusive screen shots from what is told to be an internal test unit of the iPhone 4 upon which multitouch gestures is being tested by Apple, which is similar to what iOS 4.3 Beta 1 brought for the iPad.

This is more interesting rather than shocking that even on the iPhone, given its relatively small screen size when compared to the iPad, you will be using four or five fingers as well for these swiping & pinching gestures.

In one case, multitouch gestures on the iPhone can see the light of the day, and that is when the rumor regarding the next generation iPhone and iPhone dropping the home button, comes true, and that still remains to be seen.

And only yesterday when Apple seeded iOS 4.3 Beta 2, it clarified in the release notes that it will not be including multitasking gestures for iPad, and probably for the iPhone as well,  in the final release of iOS 4.3. Maybe we have to wait until iOS 5 is out, alongside the iPhone 5 this summer to enjoy multitouch gestures on our iPhones.
