It has nearly been a day since Apple seeded iOS 4.3 Beta 2 to developers and now MacRumors claims that it has found an image in the iOS 4.3 Beta 2’s firmware which confirms that the Cupertinos are bringing a Camera, FaceTime and the popular PhotoBooth application to the iPad. More on that after the break.

The image by the name of homeScreenOverlayFaceTime~ipad.png indeed shows Camera, FaceTime and PhotoBooth icons on the iPad homescreen, which makes one thing for sure which is that the iPad 2 will be featuring a front facing camera with Facetime capability.

FaceTime will allow iPad 2 owners to video conference with iPhone, iPod Touch and Mac owners. The standard Camera app will allow you to take photographs. We still can't say for sure if there will be a back camera, as the camera app could possibly be used only for the front camera. Finally, the Photo Booth icon confirms that Apple is including their Mac OS X Photo Booth app which allows users to take fun photos and apply various filters to them. Filters also found in the beta include Thermal Camera, Mirror, X-Ray, Kaleidoscope, Light Tunnel, Squeeze, Twirl and Stretch.

The Apple iPad 2 is expected to be launched on either the first or second Saturday of April according to the rumors received up till now, and considering all the uncertainty that is floating around on the internet regarding the features of the iPad 2, at least people will now know that they will have FaceTime, Camera and PhotoBooth on their next generation tablet from Apple.
