We have been extensively following up on the joint venture between Apple and News Corp. which is the iPad exclusive newspaper dubbed The Daily. As per our previous reports, we told you that the January 19th launch at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art was delayed even though Apple CEO Steve Jobs was supposedly attending the event alongside Rupert Murdoch. Now, finally, Apple and News Corp. have started sending out invitations to the press for the official launch of The Daily.

According to the invitation, the event begins on 2nd February 2011 at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
However, it looks like Apple CEO Steve Jobs will certainly NOT be attending this event owing to the fact that he has recently taken a medical leave of absence from the company while retaining his position as the CEO. So joining News Corp. Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch on stage is Apple's Vice President of Internet Services, Eddy Cue, to unveil the iPad only magazine in front of the press on 2nd February.
We shall definitely report once details from the press launch on 2nd February come in.
