One of the interesting and striking features that Google added to its free email service, Gmail last year was the Priority Inbox. The roll out plan adopted by the search engine giants may not have impressed the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad owners that much as it started with the Desktop version of Gmail, then was brought on Android devices with Apple users left out of the club. But all of this is part of the history as the email organizing feature has finally made its way to Apple’s high selling iDevices.

If you own an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad for that matter, you can now reap the benefits of Prioirty Inbox feature by visiting Gmail’s web app for iPhone.

To use this feature, you need to make sure that you have enabled the option in the Desktop version of Gmail. Once done with that, all you need to do is visit gmail.com on your browser and access the Priority Inbox by tapping the Menu button.

The feature that helps you in your fight against information overload works by placing the important emails on the top of the inbox so that you don’t miss the important digital conversations as you work your way through your cluttered inbox.
