While citing people familiar with the matter, WSJ reports that the iPad 2 will be coming in both GSM and CDMA varieties, whereas it will be only available through AT&T and Verizon Wireless initially.
The new iPad will initially be available through Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc., but not Sprint Nextel Corp. or T-Mobile USA in the U.S., according to some of the people familiar with the matter.
