There is definitely something amiss with the colour white and Apple. We've been waiting for the white iPhone 4 ever since it (black iPhone 4) was launched and it has been delayed so much so that we've seen rumours of the white iPhone 5, the black version of which hasn't even been released yet. We all know of the upcoming event in which Apple will release iPad 2 and now 9to5mac reports that a white iPad 2 may be coming out on March 2 as well. More on that, after the break.
So this actually is said to be the front panel, in white, of the yet-to-be released iPad 2. A white iPad 2 even before the white iPhone 4? Something's not right!
The piece that we have (from Shenzhen City), thanks to the folks at the iFixYouri iPhone repair shop, is the “digitizer” sometimes known as the the thick bezel.
The iPad 2 launch event is going to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco which has already been prepared for the Apple media event.
