Head over to Twitter right now and you are guaranteed that most of the tweets will have words like Steve Jobs, iPad, Apple and so on. All of this is happening for a reason. Steve Jobs was at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco and went on to do something which every one was expected - announced iPad 2. Before announcing the iPad successor, the Apple CEO revealed some interesting statistics but none of them was as interesting as this - 15 million iPads in 2010.

While the announcement itself was extremely interesting and exciting, the fact that Apple sold 15 million units of the original iPad in the year 2010 is an achievement in itself and justifies the tagging of the Tablet as magical. Moreover, this number is more than every tablet PC ever sold. Coming to the financial side of things, Apple got a staggering amount$9.5 billion in revenue and a more than 90 percent market share.

For those keeping iPhone sales count, Steve Jobs went on record to reveal that the Cupertinos shipped their 100 millionth iPhone recently. Congratulations to Apple and Steve Jobs and we hope to see more of the same from the impression causing company.
