So you thought Samsung was done adding new members to its popular and growing Galaxy family after it announced Galaxy S II? Well, you are in for a pleasant surprise as the Koreans have announced two new members for their growing Galaxy family. And no these are not smartphones. These are media players and will be called Galaxy Player 4 and Galaxy Player 5 where 4 and 5 represent the size of the touch screens for the respective devices.
Galaxy Player 4 as mentioned above has a 4 inch multi-touch Super Clear LCD screen with HD video support, a front facing VGA camera, a rear facing 3.2 MP camera, Froyo, Stereo speakers, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Galaxy Player 5 on the other hand has a 5 inch multi-touch WVGA TFT-LCD HD Video supporting screen , a front facing VGA camera, a rear facing 3.2 MP camera with LED Flash, Froyo, Stereo speakers, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Both the multimedia players have Qik application installed on them which will allow them to make VoIP calls over WiFi. The thing that I hate about these PMP is that they will come pre-installed with Froyo and will receive Gingerbread via an update which we all know will take a lot of time.
