Up till now we've been hearing rumors about the iPhone 5 and what it is probably going to have. What about the next generation "iPhone without a contract?" Alleged pictures of the fifth generation iPod touch have started making rounds on the internet and they basically hint at two things: A capacitive Home button and a whooping 128GB of storage capacity.
One thing that should be noticed here is that these pictures show the iPod touch 5G with a full metal back, exactly what we've heard the iPhone 5 might get.
The pictures received from an anonymous source claim the device to be a DVT-1 prototype of the next generation iPod touch. Interesting thing to note here is that according to these pictures, the next generation iPod touch is going to have a capacitive Home button instead of the current hardware one.
Do you believe that these pictures are actually legitimate? Or is it yet another prank in spirit of April Fools Day? That remains to be seen. However, it is going to be pretty awesome if an iPod touch with 128GB of storage is released. Consider the possibilities!
